Artists or the Term 2 2025 - Mrs Jennie Lewis and Mrs Carren Lu

This term we had our own ‘Resident artists’ Mrs Jennie Lewis and Mrs Carren Lu. Both these artists are hard working members of our St Gregs family working with so many children. These incredible artists have their own styles. Jennie Lewis is a photographer and sketch artist who favours using inks and paint in bright colours. Carren Lu uses paint to create incredible murals in homes restaurants and our school!

In January 2025, we began our journey to highlight and raise the profile of Art within Saint Gregory’s. 
As a school we have been on a wonderful journey being introduced to new and well known ‘Great Artists’ through history month by month. Children have been able to bring in pieces of their own work to show how ‘We are ALL Artists!’ and can be inspired by the world around us, the people around us and also artists we learn about.
