Fees & Term Dates
Reviewed annually or as necessary
We are open from Monday to Friday, 38 weeks of the year (excluding Bank Holidays) and we operate our Kids Holiday Club to cover school holidays and inset days (51 weeks).
Additional hours must be confirmed to ensure we maintain adult: child ratios, and are not intended to be used as regular bookings.
We are unable to offer a reduction for any of the weeks your child may be absent.
- Children collected from Pre-school/Nursery after 3:00pm will be charged £10.00 + any After-School Club sessions until collection.
- Children collected from the After-School Club/ Holiday Club after 6.00pm will be charged £10.00 + £1.00 per minute for extra care.
- If you wish to cancel your booking, please request a cancellation form or send an email. Four weeks' notice of cancellation is required.
- Unattended sessions will be charged
- A sibling discount of 20% will be offered for the oldest child.
- Invoices will be sent monthly in arrears, via email from our booking system ‘Famly’. Payment is accepted via bank transfer, cheque, vouchers or the tax-free childcare scheme. Cash is not accepted.
- At St Gregory’s Childcare Trust, we charge £1.00 per session for every child that is using the Government Funding Hours.
- The funding provides an allowance per child per hour to cover “Basic Education”. This Basic Education only pays for the minimum needed to teach the children for the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework. It does not account for St Gregory’s Childcare Trust’s excellence in education and all the additional services and experiences we offer.
- The session charge is used to pay for snacks, consumables, additional services provided, e.g. special tuition (Music, Mandarin & Spanish Language Lessons, PE tec). The session charge is not allowed to be used for the running costs of the setting, e.g. paying for highly qualified and experienced staff, extra staff ratios in both the Preschool and Nursery, room hire, heating, water, telephone, website hosting, etc. Without the session charge, it would be impossible to offer all the benefits we offer to sustain our successful Outstanding Nursery & Preschool and the reason why parents choose to send their child to our setting.
- If parents choose not to pay the session charge, their child will still receive the same outstanding teaching and learning opportunities covered in the EYFS, but will not have access to the following: snacks, PE, Music Lessons, Mandarin & Spanish lessons, sun cream etc and all additional extras including special events* would need to be paid for.
- The session contribution to consumables is calculated and spread over 38 weeks and therefore takes into consideration higher fees for special events, half days and INSET days.
-
Consumable Voluntary Fee per session £1.00 *Snacks Variety of Seasonal Fruits Variety Seasonal Vegetables Cheese £0.70 Crackers Raisins Special Events – Party Food *Non-consumables & Activities Special Events – Entertainers Physical Education Music Lessons £0.30 Mandarin Language Lessons Spanish Language Lessons **Sun cream * Parents that choose to ‘opt-out’ must provide snacks that follow the St Gregory’s Childcare Trust menu – this is to prevent allergy contamination. This policy is set to protect those children that can only access the St Gregory’s Childcare Trust menu snacks and become distressed if they see other opinions not available to them. Unfortunately, we don’t have extra fridge space, so please ensure the snacks are packed in an insulated lunch box. Also, just a reminder that we maintain a nut-free environment, and we kindly ask that you stick to the same snacks that all the children will enjoy. Thank you!
-
** Sun cream – Please make sure your child has sun cream applied in the morning. If you decide not to use our sun cream, kindly remember you will need to come into the setting to reapply it at lunchtime. Thank you!
